Artists comment : I
go passed this beach twice a day on my way to dropping my daughter off
to school and most days I stop off to watch the Sand Martins swirling
in to the nest burrows just a few feet above holidaymaker's heads. The
beach is home to many gulls and even Whimbels occasionally and behind
is a large reed bed with various warblers, etc, etc. The colonoy has developed
in the top soil layer which has created a ledge above the harder rocky
base. |
